The Story Behind Ragdoll
Ragdoll began as a spark of imagination in 2010, when Creative Director Marc Andrew first envisioned a dark, magical circus world unlike anything audiences had seen before.
Originally created for his stage school, the production was performed to enthusiastic audiences of family and friends, receiving wonderful feedback. Although the show was well received, Marc always believed it had the potential to become something much bigger. The dream of developing it into a professional musical never disappeared—it simply waited for the right moment.
Then came 2020.
As the world fell silent during the COVID-19 pandemic, life changed almost overnight. After years of relentless seven-day working weeks, Marc suddenly found himself with the time to focus on the story that had never truly left him. He built a recording and production studio from the ground up and immersed himself in the world of Ragdoll once again.
Song by song, Scene by scene, Character by character the new version of the musical slowly came to life. Over the following years, the story was refined, the score expanded into 16 original songs, and the magical world of Fallon & Turnbull Circus grew into the production you see today.
Now, in 2026, the curtain is finally beginning to rise, The music has been written, The story is ready, The cast has been assembled, The circus lights are warming.
This marks the beginning of an exciting new journey as Ragdoll The Musical takes its first steps towards the stage through workshops, development and live performances.

The Story
Deep within the mysterious world of Fallon & Turnbull Circus, where magic, mystery and darkness live side by side, a secret has remained hidden for over one hundred years.
Saffron is a spoiled, entitled young woman who has always expected the world to revolve around her. Self-centred and dismissive of those around her, she reluctantly accepts an invitation from the mysterious Master Fallon to glimpse her future. But fate has other plans.
After crossing paths with the sinister fortune teller Lady Deliliah, Saffron's arrogance and cruelty have devastating consequences. Determined to teach her a lesson she will never forget, Lady Deliliah places Saffron under a powerful curse, transforming her into a ragdoll for one hundred years.
Lost in a strange new world, Saffron's fate takes another unexpected turn when the well-meaning but bumbling circus workers Penn and Blake, desperate for a prize at the coconut shy, unknowingly give her away.
